Release Date Official: May 25, 2012
Sony Pictures have announced that Men in Black 3 will be released in the USA and worldwide on May 25, 2012. The bigger news is that it will be shown at IMAX cinemas in 3D, the first Men in Black movie to be seen on the giant screens.
In a press release from Sony Pictures Releasing president Rory Bruer:
“Releasing a film in IMAX 3D signals an event release, and Men in Black III on Memorial Day weekend certainly qualifies in a big way. We couldn’t be more excited about how MIB III will look and sound in IMAX theatres.”

A game is being developed to tie in with the release of Men in Black 3. The game will be online, and free to play – with profits coming in via “micro-transactions”. The news report doesn’t have any specifics regarding the type of game it will be.
Some will be more traditional MMO style games, while others will be closer to action, resource management or adventure games – but all will contain core MMO experiences.
